Supporting a tendering process for a central warehouse of a B2C / mail-order retailer

Challenge

Identification of genuine alternative partners in order to break up the grown, but ‘outdated’ cooperation with the current 3PL partner

Process

  • Review of all contractual documents
  • Evaluation of risks and chances in terms of financial, legal and operational consequences in connection with changing the 3PL partner
  • Active support of the tendering phase
  • Preparation of negotiations incl. tactical approach, list of demands, project schedule, set up of the negotiation team and definition of fallback scenarios
  • Preparation of all contract elements, incl. remuneration model, incentivation model, liability & insurance concept
  • Active support during contract negotiations in both, foreground and background
