Challenge
Negotiating a new logistics contract in an existing service setup, in which only a LOI, price sheets and the operational practice were the basis of the cooperation

Process

  • Review of all relevant documents
  • Review of the operation: Determining which changes to the status quo are desired by both parties.
  • Risk assessment for the client; evaluation of alternative courses of action; development of a fall-back scenario for the client
  • Development of a negotiation and communication roadmap
  • Preparation of negotiations including tactical approach, list of demands, negotiating team
  • Elaboration of contract contents and all contract annexes, based on the established practice incl. some adjustments for the future
  • Active support during contract negotiations
